For this journal I will examine the part of my internship that has been most rewarding so far.
The most rewarding aspect of my internship thus far has been my involvement in the United Arts Council 2016 gallery event.
I have helped to put on this event for 5 years now, working with my Uncle, Chris Droessler. The last two years I have worked with him through his company, Barnabas Multimedia, as a production manager for the event.
This event, which takes place at Wakefield High School, is an opportunity for traveling actors, singers, and all other entertainers to make their case to school principles as to why the school should hire them to perform for their students.
It is very rewarding to me to help these people look the best they can for their performances, because I know that their livelihood for the next year is largely based off of their performance.
I am definitely looking forward to continuing to help with this event next year.
