It’s crazy to think that nearly 6 weeks have already past in my internship! There has been a lot going on, as this is a very busy time of year for my business sponsors.

With Barnabas MultiMedia, we are gearing up for the NC State Fair in just two weeks! Although our presence at the fair this year will not include a full scale educational exhibit, we will still be helping to install lighting systems in several venues. This will be interesting work because I should be able to apply some that I have learned in my technical theatre experiences at Millbrook to our work in setting up lighting equipment.

At Crossroads Fellowship, our Wednesday Night programming has started back up. I am also training a new sound board assistant for the times that I cannot be there to run service on Sundays and Wednesdays. Teaching another person how to do so many important tasks that I have been learning for years is difficult, but it has forced me to explain my methods, and in some cases, reexamine how I accomplish tasks.

At Source7 Marketing, we have a new client project, designing a website for an elementary school teacher who has written a personal safety book for kids. We have been using a new plugin called Divi 3.0 with WordPress to create a responsive website that will work across all platforms.

I am looking forward to the next few weeks with all of these projects!

Until next time,
— Thomas Armstrong
